Topic: Integration of Computer Vision and Blockchain To Improve Supply Chain Management and Product Authentication

Abstract: Exploring an integrated system that combines low-cost IoT devices, computer vision and blockchain to automate product tracking and authentication in supply chains. Compact devices such as Arduino boards with camera modules linked to Raspberry Pi units capture and decode QR codes in real time, extract product ID, sender and receiver details, and automatically sign and record each shipment’s status on an Ethereum-compatible blockchain without human intervention. A web dashboard gives stakeholders full visibility to register and authorize devices, generate secure product labels, and monitor shipments at every stage. Tests under varied conditions showed reliable QR detection, smooth blockchain interaction and stable transaction costs, highlighting a transparent and scalable approach to decentralized supply chain management.
